Platycercus Rosella
Very pretty parrots who are regular visitors, particularly in the warmer months.  If they're not feeding on thistles or grass seeds, then they can often be heard in the tree tops communicating with their very distinctive ringing call.  The immatures that visit (often four with their parent birds) are beautifully blotchy, in various shades of blue, green, yellow and red.  Click on images to enlarge.
