White-naped Honeyeater Gallery

Melithreptus lunatus
With distinctive red crescents around their eyes, these little honeyeaters come regularly to the bird bath and dive quickly in and out splashing heartily as they do. They then spend considerable time preening themselves before flying off to continue their foraging in the treetops.  Click on images to enalarge.
